Our mission: to change the way we see and do things

In today’s society, it’s crucial to question our perspectives and actions in order to create a more promising future. The facts are clear: dependence, poverty and need persist, despite the immense natural potential of our country.

Too often, we have focused on the resources provided by our mining and forestry wealth, neglecting the real generators of growth: agriculture and its by-products. This is an unacceptable mistake when we know that our land, sun and rain are capable of providing us with riches that we import at great expense.

Faced with this reality, some visionaries decided to take action. That’s how Projet Bantu was born, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that embodies our cultural identity and aspires to significant change.

Our vision is clear: we want to curb the huge outflow of foreign currency linked to massive imports of food products. How do we do this? By developing the agricultural skills of our men and women, by teaching them the best practices for exploiting our bountiful land. We firmly believe that this all-out agricultural policy is ambitious and perfectly attainable.

With this in mind, we have created the Professional Center for Applied Arts and Development (PCAAD). It represents our spearhead in realizing our mission. The PCAAD comprises three poles which are all levers for change:

  • The primary cluster (green) focuses on agriculture, livestock breeding, processing of agricultural products and renewable energies such as biogas, solar and wind power.
  • The secondary cluster (yellow) focuses on mechanization, manufacturing, creation and recycling, to promote a sustainable economy.
  • The tertiary cluster (blue) focuses on services and new information and communication technologies (NICT), which are essential drivers of development.

Understanding our mission and values is essential to actively participating in this positive change. We invite you to visit our website and discover our history, our actions and our projects. Together, we can create a better future, where our land yields wealth in abundance and our talents are fully exploited.

Join Projet Bantu and become part of the change our country so desperately needs. Together, we can change the way we see and do things, for a more prosperous and sustainable future.
